BGAS stands for “British Gas Approval Scheme” and it happens to be the most widely accepted standard for Industrial Grade Protective Coating and Welding applications – worldwide. BGAS standards are modeled into training courses by TWI and certification exams are conducted by them and these are popularly known as BGAS-CSWIP courses (CSWIP stands for “Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel”)
